FROM January to November 2025, Azerbaijan imported 128,546 tonnes of potatoes, up 3.2% compared to the same period in 2024. The import value increased by 41%.
Figures from 2025 show the country’s main suppliers being the following: Turkey ($20M), Georgia ($7.75M), Pakistan ($7.13M), Russia ($5.97M), and Iran ($4.71M).
Last year, Fresh Plaza reported that Azerbaijan’s potato imports had decreased by 8% to 131,335 tonnes, driven by improved domestic production and a shift toward strengthening local supply.
