Breeding and seed trading company appoints new CFO with a wealth of industry experience

POTATO breeding and seed trading company Royal HZPC Group has appointed Marlous Booijink as its Chief Financial Officer at Royal HZPC Group.

Marlous and her husband run an arable farm in the Noordoostpolder, which includes approximately 50 hectares dedicated to seed potatoes. Aged 45, she also has more than 20 years of financial and management experience within the food industry, having worked with FrieslandCampina, DSM, and the Pandriks Group.

HZPC CEO Hans Huistra said: “She brings her extensive experience in the international food industry, along with profound knowledge of financial disciplines and ERP systems. Her familiarity with our seed potato world is invaluable, and I am confident she will be a great fit within our leadership team, which includes Herman Verveld, Peter Ton, and Robert Graveland, alongside Marlous and myself.”

Marlous will take up her role from August 1st, succeeding Jordan van Vilsteren, who will be departing in October.
