Are you a potato crop specialist looking for your next career move? Hutchinsons seeks Potato Technical Manager to join its team.

With many farming clients, representing over one million hectares, Hutchinsons is a leading agricultural and horticultural input advice and supply company.

To support its market-leading potato team and continue delivering value to growers and the wider industry, the company is looking for a Potato Technical Manager who’s passionate about agronomy and ready to help shape the future of UK potato production.

Founded in 1938, Hutchinsons remains a family business and now employs over 550 staff nationwide, with more than half directly involved with client-facing agronomic relationships.

This exciting new role builds on strong foundations. The Technical Manager will work closely with agronomists, growers, and supply chain partners to share knowledge, guide strategy, and bring fresh thinking to our potato agronomy specialists. They will also help develop new ideas, technologies, and products that make a real difference in the field.

The company is looking for someone who knows potatoes inside out, communicates clearly, and enjoys working with others to solve problems and drive progress.

“If you’ve got a strategic mindset, a collaborative approach, and a genuine interest in helping growers succeed, we’d love to hear from you. This is a great opportunity to make an impact—supporting a respected team, growing business opportunities, and helping drive UK potato farming forward.”

If you are interested in this role, you can apply via the Hutchinsons website
or call Kelly Earl on 07796 508490 for a confidential discussion.
