EVENT WILL LOOK AT RECENT TRIALS ON POTATO PEST AND CONTROL DISCUSSIONS.
PCN Action Scotland is holding an open day on August 7th which will look at recent field trials and feature discussions about potato cyst nematodes and current control methods.
There will be two sessions for the event, to be staged at Barnyards Farm, Tannadice, Forfar, with the first taking place between 11am and 12.30pm and the second between 1.30pm and 3pm.
The PCN Action Scotland project is a working group led by the Plant Health Centre, and involves other organisations including the James Hutton Institute, SRUC, SoilEssentials, Scottish Agronomy and SASA. The Scottish Government awarded it funding for a fully integrated five-year project of scientific research and knowledge exchange with an aim to deliver a sustainable potato industry for Scotland.
