Delinked payments update

THE Rural Payments Agency (RPA) has finished sending out initial Delinked Payments Information Statements to customers which shows the reference amount that will be used to calculate delinked payments from 2024 to 2027 for eligible growers.

Progressive reductions will be applied to the payments each year.

The Rural Payments Agency (RPA) replaced the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) in England with delinked payments on January 1st.

Growers who claimed BPS in any of the scheme years 2020, 2021 or 2022, but did not receive an information statement are advised to contact the RPA to request one here.

Reference data in the statement should be checked against the BPS payment data on latest BPS claim statements for the relevant year/s. If after checking your latest claim statement you still do not agree with the values the RPA have used, you need to fill in and return a Basic Payment Scheme payment query form. Deadline for this is February 29th.

Growers who intend to transfer some or all of their reference data must tell the RPA as soon as possible so any queries can be resolved prior to transfer.
