Potato industry converges in Harrogate for major industry events.

THE 2025 edition of the British Potato Industry Event held at the Great Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate opened its doors to a steady stream of visitors on Wednesday and Thursday this week and ended on a high note.

Exhibition stands and seminar stands attracted visitors from all areas of the potato industry – from UK and further afield – keen to find out what’s new, topical and trending in the industry.

The British Potato Industry Awards were held on the first night of the show at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate, with many of the show’s visitors making their way there in the evening to celebrate and network with fellow growers, suppliers, manufacturers and consultants. This year’s guest speaker was comedian Jamie Sutherland, the corporate hospitality MC at Everton FC who presented the awards and kept everyone entertained.
